Super Eagles legend, Daniel Amokachi has been appointed as one of the top officials of the NPFL board. The announcement which was made last week by the Nigerian Football Federation in Abuja had the new board of the Nigerian Professional Football League inaugurated on Tuesday.

The board will serve a two-year term and have Gbenga Elegeleye as its head, while Barrister Danlami will serve as the secretary of the body and Prince Davidson Owumi will serve as the Chief Operating Officer.

Mallam Mohammed Nasiru Sa’idu, Barrister Poubeni Ogun, Dr. Okey Kpalakwu, Mallam Suleiman Umar and Mr Iorfa Dominic will be joining The one time African Nations Cup and Olympic gold medalist, Daniel Amokachi as members of the board.
