Super Falcons rising star, Deborah Abiodun has made her mark already at new club Pittsburgh Panthers, scoring her first goal in a resounding triumph over the Bucknell Bisons.

In the 59th minute, Abiodun got on the scoresheet in the 59th minute after she found an open spot to connect to a ball by Keera Melenhorst.

Having just moved to the club with a familiar face, Coach Randy Waldrum, Abiodun was quick to express her profound joy as she took to her official social media handle to show off her first goal for the Pittsburg Panthers.

According to her:

“It’s an indescribable feeling to score my first goal for @Pitt_WSOC and very grateful to my supportive players and technical staff. God and you guys made it possible.”

Abiodun’s accomplishment adds her name to the growing list of Nigeria Super Falcons players who have made their mark in the United States.
